Twitter List: Educators in 1:1 Programs

There have been 1:1 programs since the late 1990′s – schools with 1:1 word processors, eMates, PDAs, AlphaSmarts, laptops, iPods, iPhones, tablets, etc.  I’ve been using laptops with students since 1999 and have been working in schools with 1:1 laptop programs since 2003.  My current school has had their 1:1 since 2001.  One thing I’ve learned is that teachers in 1:1 programs have opportunities to teach differently because of the tools and technologies available.

That being said, I realized I follow and am followed by hundreds of educators on Twitter.  Some I knew were involved in 1:1 programs, but for many I wasn’t sure.  When Twitter introduced Twitter Lists this past weekend, it seemed like a great opportunity to create a list of educators involved in 1:1 programs.

If you or someone you know is involved in a 1:1 program and would like to be added, please let me know.  I’m @brasst on Twitter.  I look forward to collaborating with you!
